About Rob Simbeck
Rob Simbeck is a Nashville-based writer who has written press bios for hundreds of entertainers, including Kellie Pickler, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry, and Gretchen Wilson.
His work has appeared in The Washington Post, Country Weekly, Field & Stream, Guideposts and many other magazines and newspapers. His work for the Nashville Scene won three national awards, and his column for South Carolina Wildlife won two international awards.
Rob is Nashville Bureau Chief of Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40, heard weekly on more than 320 stations. Besides Daughter of the Air, Rob’s books include Tennessee State Symbols and American Music Legends. He has spoken at writers' conferences and universities across the country and is a widely published poet.
