I love hanging out with 'the boys' at my gliderport, but it's nice to know I'm not so alone. They accuse me of trying to 'girlify the airport!' because I bring Hello Kitty bandaids for the flight desk. However, they never argue with cookies and muffins, and secretly like the flowers.

- Beth T, Chalfont, Penna

I've always had a pink flight bag - actually I love Hello Kitty and found her on a pink bag and call it my flight bag. It makes a great theft deterrent and everyone knows it is mine. Really, what guy is going to go in there without being noticed?!?!?

- Julieann, Ninety-Nines Bay Cities chapter

I just think this is such as wonderful thing. I enjoy showing off the 'girly' things… Thanks for the wonderful items for women pilots.

- Debra B, West Virginia

Just because women comprise less than 6% of all pilots, does that mean pilot gear can't be pretty?

We didn't think so, either.

Powder Puff Pilot outfits feminine flyers with gear that:

  • Matches your nails
  • Smells nicer than black leather
  • Is easy to find in the depths of your flight bag

And the best thing about pink gear: Flyboys won't touch it!
